We specialise in all day brunch, fresh cabinet salads, in-house baking and cater to a range of diets including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. We love to put our spin on the kiwi cafe classics, using high quality ingredients that change with the seasons.
Our baristas are top notch and passionate about coffee. From the quintessential flat white to single origin bottomless filter, we serve Coffee Supreme so you know you're getting the good stuff.

“We have been going to Neo for over ten years on trips to Wellington, sometimes just for a coffee and morning tea, sometimes for breakfast or lunch. The staff have always consistently been both friendly and professional, the coffee and the food have always been excellent - in fact we have never had a bad experience, which is why I’m writing this review. “Service and food totally consistent with previous visits. The staff are exceptional - just that right touch of awesome service and checking in that everything is okay. Busy busy busy place - but as a customer you don't feel rushed to leave the table. Food as always excellent - friend had the fish in turkish bread - which I might have to try if I can get past eggs bene / salmon We were there bang on 8 am opening - and by the time we left people were waiting for tables (but would be worth the wait).”

“We visited the Neo Cafe for brunch on the weekend. We regularly go out for brunch in Sydney, Australia and we were not disappointed at all with the Neo cafe. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I had the Veggies Feast and my husband had the Neo Feast. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Wellington.”

“We naturally did our homework and followed the fab reviews to come here. What separated it from a couple of other contenders too though was the early Sunday open and the pancakes. It definitely didn’t disappoint. Eating is weird in these covid times but Neo was worth the effort. We ordered the pancakes, the full keto breakfast and straight scrambled eggs with GF polenta bread and bacon and everything was amazing. You know how sometimes you can eat a full English style breakfast and it can leave you feeling full bit a little greasy after - we’ll this just doesn’t. The free range ingredients really make a difference, the taste is just extra and we felt really clean afterwards. The menu is simple - but done seriously well. Awesome Supreme coffee. Staff were fab, really accommodating and friendly despite being in demand and again under the level 3 pump. Loved it.”
