“We were greeted at the door in a really friendly manner while lining up to go into the cafe, to inform us that there would be a 20 minute wait. Almost spot on the 20 minutes we were shown to a table. How wonderful as a coeliac to see every item on the menu was either GF or GF option. The task was what to choose. The coffee was great as was the service. Despite being a very busy Sunday morning (no doubt this is a normal day for Neo) the staff calmly set about their tasks offering excellent service. 5 Star rating is a given…thank you for providing a pleasant Sunday morning”

“A long time institution in Wellington, it is always busy, for good reason. They do not take bookings and when we arrived weekday for 4, I thought it would be a long wait but we were so well looked after that it was just fine, We were sat at the high table and ordered hot drinks and then moved to a low table when it became available. There is a very good range of salad, bakery goodies, scones and cake to take away or eat in. They have a diverse all day menu as well as catering very well for breakfast brunch. Staff are very friendly and efficient. the kitchen is very good and the quality is high. We ordered 2 fish butties, bowl of fries and 2 chilli scrambleds. The eggs were very generous portions and very delicious. Highly recommend and would definitely return.”

“Fabulous eatery on Willis Street. The menu has a great range of food with some good veggie options. The place has a great vibe and was busy and pumping when we went, but not too cramped or noisy. The food was delicious - we ate the Neo breakfast and the wellness bowl with crispy chicken. Coffee was great. Service good. We really enjoyed it. So much so, we went back again a couple of days later and it delivered equally as well!
We didn’t try the cabinet food, but that looked great also.”

“We’ve been in NZ for 4 weeks, this was the nicest breakfast so far. A busy place, but tables were turned round quickly, and wiped, staff efficient, pleasant, thoughtful and polite. I had a superb nutty granola bowl with yogurt, berries, fruits, husband had a plain scrambled egg on sourdough toast but there are loads of more exciting or spicy menu choices, coffee top ups available freely. Well worth a visit.”

“Amazing food. The staff are excellent and knowledgeable about allergies. I had the blueberry and banana pancakes gluten free and were one of the best I’ve ever had. My partner also enjoyed his full breakfast. We will definitely be making this our go- to when we are in Wellington.”
